“My bike is different.” That’s the perfect expression to describe KOMBO and KADDY, the two new innovation-driven e-bikes that BRERA Cicli, the bicycle brand of the MANDELLI Group, is introducing for urban cyclists this coming spring.
“We decided,” explains Marcello Fusi, Brand Manager of the Cycling Division of the Northern Italy-based group, “to launch these two pioneering new models with the aim of making life easier and more comfortable for those who use their bike daily in the city and constantly face potholes, manholes, tram tracks and curbs. To overcome all these obstacles, there is only one solution: quite simply, big wheels.”
Both KOMBO and KADDY are equipped with extra-large tyres featuring diameter and width beyond standard electric bike dimensions, yet without the drawback of excessive weight, thanks to the choice of an extremely powerful motor: the Vinka RH70 – 36V rear hub motor delivering 65 Nm of torque, ensuring an exceptionally smooth and comfortable ride.
“Our research,” continues the Brand Manager, “focused on innovation not only from a technical perspective but also in terms of aesthetics.” Hence their distinctive original design, while still respecting urban styling codes.
Larger in size, KOMBO is a super versatile easy electric cargo bike: ideal for everyone, perfect everywhere — from the city centre during the cold season to the seafront in summer — and capable of handling any load, from groceries to a surfboard. It is available in matte green, with a recommended retail price of €1,890.
Compact in size but maximum in performance, KADDY is the most comfortable and smartest e-bike in the BRERA electric range. It comes in matte black and glossy yellow, with a recommended retail price of €1,790.
While cargo mania continues to dominate metropolitan trends, the top step of the podium still belongs to KARGHÒ, the longtail electric cargo bike that, since last season, has been establishing itself as a true alternative to a second car — especially for stress-free, zero-emission bike-to-school commuting. Available in a highly trendy matte petrol blue, it comes at a particularly attractive price of €2,495.
Finally, a novelty aligned with more traditional e-bike standards could not be missing. That’s why VELORA has just arrived at selected BRERA retailers: a fluid eUrban model, both in design and performance, created to experience the city by bike — from cobblestones to asphalt. Available in glossy rose silver and matte green, with a recommended retail price of €1,990.
